Sephiroth came across this blade while traveling the lands.

History/Background Story:

The Start:

Sephiroth was a child prodigy. He was born from Hiashi Hyuuga & Makoto Uchiha, basically meaning he was born with both the Sharingan & the Byakugan. He was born in Konoha & branded a halfbreed among the Hyuuga & Uchiha. Neither clan wanted him so he was put in a orphanage.

Academy Arc:

When it was time to enter the Academy, Sephiroth hated all of Konoha. He was basically Itachi Uchiha's rival & they seemed to be seen everywhere together. They were practically brothers. Him & Itachi were both transferred to the ANBU when they were thirteen. Around that time, Sephiroth had gained his fully matured Sharingan & his Byakugan & was an expert in Taijutsu, Ninjutsu & Kenjutsu. On a fateful day, Sephiroth found out about him having the Sanbi sealed in his body. He decided to use his demon's power to get even stronger.

ANBU Arc:

Sephiroth was a very powerful teenager & rivaled Itachi at everything. One day, he was confronted by a group of Uchiha members. They insulted him & his parents. He didn't take kindly to it so he attacked & mauled every single one of them. He shortly blacked out after that but found out he obtained the Mangekyou Sharingan. For some strange reason, when he woke up, he became a man obsessed with attaining god-hood. So, he found Itachi & Madara, who were planning on exterminating the Uchiha Clan & helped them kill the Uchiha. 13 years after that, he came back to the village under disguise & infiltrated the Hyuuga Clan. He stole some of the Hyuuga family scrolls & started learning the Hyuuga style of fighting.

Missing-nin Arc:

After the killing off the Uchiha Clan, Sephiroth was branded a SS-Class Missing-nin & to be avoided on site. He met the person who made the Seven Shinobi Swordsmen's blades & received his own weapon from the man. He later came upon the legendary Tenseiga during his travels. He decided to take the blade with him. he was adopted at age 16 by a woman named Jenova. He thought the blade could prove useful. At this time, he is 26 years old & an extremely powerful force. He claims to be God's Hand & says he carries out God's judgement. He merged with his demon, making him have three tailed sticking out of his lower back. He is now the new three-tailed demon lord. Through very intense training, he managed to gain the ability to run at the speed of sound. He came across a man who called himself Jashin. Jashin granted him immortality if he would continue the religion Jashinism. He agreed & when he obtained immortality, he turned on Jashin & killed him. Ever since, he has been obsessed with achieving godhood. He says the to achieve his goal of godhood is to commit world-wide genocide.

Description: This jutsu was developed over the span of three years by the Fourth Hokage. The technique was taught to his sensei Jiraiya, who then passed it on to the young ninja Naruto years later. Like Kage Bunshin, Naruto would adopt the technique as a signature move and make it all his own. The technique is unlike other jutsu in that it does not require any handseals, it just relied on the ninja's ability to mold chakra. The ninja concentrates a contained, fast, rotating sphere of chakra in the palm of their hand which can cause much destructive impact.

Thus the technique was pure shape manipulation of chakra, unlike most elemental techniques which are shape and nature manipulation. Hatake Kakashi stated the technique was unfinished for this reason, as the Fourth Hokage did not get a chance to add some form of nature manipulation to it and it was even unclear whether it is even possible for an elemental nature to be added. Naruto dedicated himself to this task though, in the hopes of fusing his Wind elemental nature with the Rasengan's shape manipulation. He eventually succeeded after long and hard training, which took advantage of Kage Bunshin's memory absorption capabilities. He was able to finish the jutsu in the span of a few weeks what would have taken a normal ninja numerous years. The new Wind Element version was thus named Fuuton: Rasengan.

DescriptioN: utilizing the Wind Element. Rasen Shuriken was developed by Uzumaki Naruto out of the original Fuuton • Rasengan. This spiraling Wind attack has only been seen in a half completed state. But even in this incomplete form, it has wrought massive destruction. With the aid of clones Naruto will form Rasengan and add the Wind Element. Though called "shuriken" the attack is not thrown. The trick name along with the aid of clones who act as a feint allow Naruto to get in close and strike his opponent. The attack itself can only be maintained in his hands for a few seconds time.

Rasen Shuriken is formed by enumerable miniscule small blades which slice into every cell of his target, severing the chakra circulatory channels connecting all the vital points on the body. Once it connects the highly dangerous attack will envelop the target in a massive sphere of destruction. The attack hits the opponent in such a way that it is even beyond the abilities of the Sharingan to copy. Due to its channel severing nature, the result on the body resembles a fast acting poison more than an outright attack. Unfortunately this same damage is done to Naruto's arm. For that reason Tsunade declared it forbidden.

Description: This jutsu was developed by Hatake Kakashi utilizing the Lightning Element. Chidori allows him to cut through any foe. Later, Uchiha Sasuke used his Sharingan and the training of Kakashi to also learn the technique. It was given the nickname Raikiri after it was said Kakashi used the technique to cut a lightning bolt in two. Chidori is used for assassination purposes. Activating the body to focus chakra to the hand, Kakashi and Sasuke's hand become enveloped by an electrical force. This force is their chakra altered in nature to an electrical current. By altering the shape of the force, similar to an electrical discharge, they can decide the power and range of the attack.

After concentrating all the chakra into the arm, Kakashi and Sasuke use their quickness and the power of the thrust from the chakra to pierce any object with the extended forearm. Because their opponent can easily counter the attack, it requires a Sharingan user to make the technique worthwhile. The Sharingan will allow them to predict any moves their opponent decides to make and send their strike home into the target. Due to the high speed, the force emits a sound like a thousand birds chirping which gave the technique its name. Because of the great amount of chakra needed to utilize the technique, the technique can only be used so many times during the day.

Description: This jutsu was developed by Uchiha Sasuke out of the original Chidori technique. Instead of merely focusing the electrical force to his body, Sasuke is able to extend it outside of his body and through objects which he is holding. This allows him to create a protective zone around his person. This zone of electricity can shock and immobilize his foes, presumably by attacking their nervous system.

Used in conjunction with his Kusanagi sword, the blade becomes almost unstoppable. It takes on Chidori's natural ability to cut through anything which stands in its path, allowing the sword to strike its target with ease. Should the sword strike a human, the charge will cause the target to go numb, lessening their ability to further counter his attacks.

The Sharingan will allow them to predict any moves their opponent decides to make and send their strike home into the target. Description: This jutsu has been forbidden because of its dark nature. The technique involves the summoning of dead souls from the afterlife back into the real world. Normally Kuchiyose (summoning) involves the use of the caster's blood as compensation for summoning, Edo Tensei is different though. The ninja will first sacrifice a living person to provide the vessel that the dead soul will inhabit. The dead body will then be incased in ash and dirt to resemble the soul of the person that was resurrected. When the ninja wishes to recall the souls, a portal will open in the ground and the caskets holding the bodies will appear. When the caskets open the bodies will be grey and in a state of minor decay. At this point the dead souls are able to remember their past life, but they are at the command of the one who summoned them. One final act will fully wipe out their conscious and make them under the command of the one who summoned them. The ninja will place a fuda (charm/tag) of some form into the head of the body. This will then give vitality back to the body and make it a pure killing machine.

When a portion of the dead body is damaged, the ash and dust will merely return and fix the damaged body part. The only way currently known to stop the resurrected person, is to utilize the Shiki Fuujin technique and remove the soul from the body.

Description: This jutsu was a specially developed Ninjutsu technique developed by Orochimaru. The technique prevents death by allowing the caster to leave his body and inhabit the body of another. This allows one to remain in the world forever as they are not restrained by the age limits placed on ones physical body. When Orochimaru takes over the body the original individual is not totally wiped out, a small piece of them remains behind to become a part of Orochimaru's subconscious. Orochimaru wished to use this technique to take over the body of an Uchiha clan member, this would allow him greater ability to fulfill his goal of learning all the jutsu of the world. When Orochimaru switches bodies, he is forced to inhabit that body for a period of years before he will be able to use the technique again.

This allows Naruto to draw on the chakra of the Kyuubi and still keep the Kyuubi itself imprisoned. Description: This jutsu was developed by the Fourth Hokage. A variation of this technique was used to seal the Kyuubi within Naruto. The technique was taught to the Third Hokage who later used it in battle. After calling forth the Shinigami (Death God) with the proper handseals, the user will hand over their soul in exchange for the Death God removing the soul from his target. The ultimate sacrificial jutsu, this technique can be used by a Kage Bunshin, but the Death God will still remove the original caster's soul.

With the jutsu activated, a spectral form of the caster will appear in front of the Death God. The Death God will push his arm through this spectral body, and the arm will extend from the chest of the real caster. This forces the caster to be close or grasping his target. The arm will reach out into the body of the target, and draw their soul from their body. If the Death God is unable to remove the whole soul because of the near death of the caster, it can remove it's knife and merely slice off a portion of the spectral form's soul to consume. This will render the targets corresponding body part dead and useless. The soul portion removed will then be sealed within the chest of the caster. Both the soul of the target and the caster will never pass into the afterlife. They will be condemned to suffer in the Death God's stomach for all eternity, locked in a hated combat, never to escape.

Though the Fuuja Houin can work well against lesser seals, it will not be able to fully stop a cursed seal placed by a powerful, skilled ninja.

One Rashoumon gate alone was said to be his ultimate defense, with this variation he can summon three of the gates in succession to help block a great incoming blast. The gates are not invincible however, being dented by the Soutourou of Kiba and Akamaru, and totally destroyed by Naruto into his four-tailed Kyuubi form. The latter gates do manage to deflect the majority of Naruto's blast though, which could have killed Orochimaru had it not be deflected.

However, because of its power, all the members failed the test except Naraku. Naraku was the first one to pass the test of the Demonic Spiders. However, there is a price to use this contract. The person must sacrifice his very humanity to the demonic spiders, making the person partially demon. Now, unlike regular demons, the person only gets the aura the healing ability of demons. Nothing else changes in the person. The other drawback is that the boss spider demands sacrifices, similar to the snake contract. The third & final drawback is that the contract takes up too much chakra. This could deplete 2/3rds of a Sannin's full chakra.

Name: Eight Gates

Description: The eight chakra gates are eight specific points on a person's chakra circulatory system. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By opening these gates, the user can surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own bodies. Rock Lee is able to open the first five gates. Guy, who taught Lee the skill, is able to open at least six. Kakashi can open at least one gate, as shown in during Kakashi's one-handed rock climbing where a shot of his brain shows the relevant point activating. The gates and what they release are listed below:

1. Gate of Opening releases the brain's limit on the total strain on the muscles, giving the user five times their normal strength.

2. Gate of Rest releases the brain's limit on the body's stamina, making a battle-worn person become miraculously ready to fight as if the fight had just started.

3. Gate of Life is located on the spinal cord, and releases the limit on the nervous system, which makes information travel at a faster rate and creates even more stamina. As a side effect, the user's skin turns red, indicating an increased blood-oxygen level.

4. Gate of Pain releases the limit on oxygen intake in the lungs, creating much more oxygen for the body to use.

5. Gate of Closing releases the limit on the amount of chakra released at one time.

6. Gate of Joy removes the limit on how much fat and proteins the intestines can digest, and releases otherwise useless energy resources, giving the user even more power and stamina.

7. Gate of Shock removes the limit on how fast the body can move, removes wastes from dead skin cells to feces, and gives the body a much cleaner system to work with, producing even more power and stamina.

8. Gate of Death opens the final gate located at the heart and uses up all of the body's energy. It makes the heart pump at maximum power and exceeds the power of every other gate. All the energy in every individual cell is used up, giving the user power well above that of any Kage. This "big bang" effect is only temporary, and destroys every muscle in the user's body including the heart. Death is assured when opening this gate hence the name. However, because of his immortality, he cannot die when he opens this gate.
